The historic and contemporary stage of great concerts and recitals, this hall can easily be adapted to meet the needs of your event to make it into a personal and individualised space. The global maximum noise level allowed inside the hall is an average (leq) of 95 db(A) with sporadic peaks up to 100 dB(A) (Lpeak).
White light is available for classical music concerts and infrastructure supply and DMX for additional equipment.
The Hall is not equipped with audio-visual systems, but it has additional audiovisual equipment.

Opened on the 18th of February 2004, the Petit Palau hall is a new auditorium intended for events that require a smaller seating capacity than the Concert Hall. Its dimensions and excellent acoustics make it particularly suitable for chamber music concerts, but it is also ideal for congresses, conventions, conferences, round tables, shareholders’ meetings, company meetings, and as a recording studio or as a set for television programmes.
Built at a depth of 11 metres, the space features cutting-edge audiovisual equipment. Fixed stands and retractable orchestra stalls that can be concealed under the stage make this a very versatile and unique space.
It has a modern, multi-purpose foyer with standing room for 80 people. It is an indispensable space for accreditations, hospitality, coffee breaks, and so on and offers a coat check service.
Combining the Petit Palau with the Foyer floor of the Palau, the magic of the old with the functionality of the new, will make your event into an unforgettable experience.
The Rehearsal Hall of The Orfeó Català This intimate and welcoming hall is ideal for holding conferences, presentations, film showings, round tables, press conferences, company meetings, seminars, luncheons/dinners, small cocktail parties, etc.
It is located at street level and is entered via the Foyer floor. Combining the two halls provides the perfect space for high-level events.
Named after the founder of the Orfeó Català (Catalan Choral Society), this is an intermission hall located on the main floor opposite the orchestra stalls of the Concert Hall. This magnificently beautiful space, two-storeys high, is renowned for its extensive stained glass windows which look out onto the balcony colonnade of the main facade.
This beautifully well-lit space is perfect for formal events such as exhibits, press conferences, lunches and dinners, company meetings, etc.
The Palau’s Terrace offers an open-air space surrounded by the exterior facades of the Palau de la Música Catalana.
Opening directly onto the ground floor Foyer, the square affords exceptional views of all the contrasting splendour of the two architectures of the Palau de la Música Catalana. It has become a popular meeting place where visitors enjoy our terrace and bar service throughout the day.
When the weather’s nice it is a wonderful place to hold a luncheon and adds to the seating capacity of the Foyer floor. A marquee can be put up if the event requires it. It is also suitable for festivals, exhibitions, etc.
Has an original and innovative lighting designed by the architect Òscar Tusquets.
Part of the square is comprised of grandstands in order to accommodate musical performances and popular festivals that call for an open-air setting.
