Atomium

Brussels

Renovated as a major national event between 2004 and 2006, the Atomium – which was not intended to survive Expo 58 for which it was the flagship construction – is today, with over 600,000 visitors per year, the most popular tourist attraction in the capital of Europe, an art centre and an international symbol of Brussels and Belgium.

Stainless steel spheres (18m in diameter) supported by a remarkable metal frame give the Atomium its trademark shape.

Offering a breathtaking panoramic view over Brussels, this unique space offers event organisers a choice of rooms and permutations.

Contemporary and modern lighting, specially designed for the Atomium by the famous lighting designer Ingo Maurer, adds drama to this iconic building.

Delegates can enjoy access to the art gallery and exhibitions.
