Direct access onto the Clocktower Courtyard
Winston Churchill was a regular guest at Cliveden in Nancy Astor’s era, and although they did not often agree, we think they would thoroughly approve of the Churchill conference facilities which have been built in the Clocktower Courtyard, adjacent to The Astor Grill restaurant. This bespoke meeting room is situated in the former mews garage complex. Equipped with the latest technology and plenty of natural daylight there is also parking close by. At the heart of the house, Churchill also has access to a private paved courtyard.

An opulent bright room with views of the river and estate
Plan a business meeting or event in the captivating French Dining Room at Cliveden House.
Flooded with natural daylight and adorned with intricate gilded panelling, it’s one of The House’s most dazzling rooms, complete with beautiful views overlooking the river and National Trust estate.
It was on a visit to Paris in 1897 that William Waldorf Astor was shown the ornate gilded panelling in Madame de Pompadour’s 18th century dining room at the Château d’Asnières. The proportions exactly matched those of the dining room at Cliveden House, resulting in him buying the panelling, table and chairs and having the room reconstructed in his home.
Seating up to 60 guests, the French Dining Room is a Rocco masterpiece retaining its extravagance to make for an incomparable private dining experience.
